In late January or early February of each year, qualified students enrolled at EvCC in the previous year receive a 1098T notification from Everett Community College. This notification is related to the federal tax credit programs called American Opportunity Credit (formerly HOPE Scholarship) or Lifetime Learning Tax Credit.

For more information or questions about your statement, please call 425-259-8279 or visit MyEvCC and click on "1098-T Resources".

International students will only receive a 1098-T upon request for the current tax year. This is because if you are part of the international program you will only need to consider the information on this form if you will be filing a US tax return and meet eligibility requirements set by the IRS. Please contact your tax consultant or the IRS for information regarding eligibility. For more information about eligibility, see IRS Publication 970. Everett Community College cannot provide tax advice. For additional information, contact your tax adviser or the IRS.

To request a 1098-T for the current tax year, email 1098T@everettcc.edu from your student email or call the EvCC 1098-T hotline at 425-259-8279; please include your name, SID, and phone number. A 1098-T will be mailed to the address we have on file.
